My heart is broken watching my home country, Venezuela, suffer after the devastating double earthquakes.

Being so far away in Australia, it is easy to feel helpless and frustrated. But instead of staying in that place, I have decided to do something positive and meaningful, even if it begins on a small scale.

After the beautiful support received during our first campaign, Bakes for Venezuela is returning for a second limited release during the first week of August 2026.

100% of revenue from Bakes for Venezuela will be donated to UNICEF Australia’s Venezuela Earthquakes Appeal to support affected children and families affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela.

Once the campaign closes, we will share the total raised and proof of donation with our community.

What’s included

Each box includes six handcrafted Latin desserts, inspired by the comforting flavours of home, childhood memories and beloved Venezuelan and Latin American sweets.

Desserts will be selected from the list below and may vary slightly from box to box:

Dulce de Leche Alfajor - our signature melt-in-your-mouth shortbread cookie, filled with dulce de leche and finished with coconut.
Mini Samba - a nostalgic Venezuelan-inspired treat with soft strawberry buttercream and chocolate.
Papitas de Leche - sweet Venezuelan milk truffles, soft, delicate and finished with a hint of clove.
Cocada - golden toasted coconut drops, chewy, fragrant and full of tropical sweetness.
Polvorosa - a delicate Latin shortbread with vanilla and cinnamon, crumbly, buttery and comforting.
Dulce de Leche Popcorn - crisp popcorn coated with dulce de leche and finished with sea salt for a sweet-salty crunch.
Brigadeiro - a rich Brazilian chocolate truffle made with condensed milk, cocoa and sprinkles.
Marquesa de Chocolate - a beloved Venezuelan dessert, layered with biscuits and silky chocolate cream.

Dessert selection may vary slightly depending on ingredient availability. Every box will be made with the same care, generosity and love.

For those who wish to give more, optional donation top-ups can be added at checkout. Every extra dollar helps.

Collection and delivery

Collection: Ivanhoe on Saturday 8 August and Sunday 9 August 2026.
Free delivery: Heidelberg, Eaglemont, Preston and Thornbury on the same dates.
Delivery is also available to selected Melbourne suburbs for an additional fee. Please provide your delivery address at checkout and we will confirm the delivery fee.

Important notes

This is a limited relief campaign, Venezuela still needs urgent help!
Boxes are handmade in small batches and available by pre-order only.
Quantities are limited so we can bake with care and fulfil every order properly.
Delivery fees are separate and are not included in the donation total, as they help cover delivery costs.

Donation transparency

At the end of the campaign, we will share the total revenue raised from the boxes and proof of donation to UNICEF Australia.

Can I order now?

Yes. The Bakes for Venezuela dessert boxes are available by pre-order now, for collection or delivery only on Saturday 8 August and Sunday 9 August 2026.

They won’t be available before or after that weekend, as this is a limited relief campaign and everything will be handmade in one small-batch production run.

We recommend ordering early, as quantities are limited and once they sell out, we won’t be adding extra dates.
